Life goes on

weel i got some news last night that was hard to here. Levi and Jen are going to have a baby. this would be good news if they were married and he had a job. there is one goodthing she didn't get an abortion. there are so many mixed feelings. We hope and pray for good things for our children. Isn't there enough trials in life without making them for our selves? Danyel helped me through some of this this morning. Megan told me i need to learn to be nice to Jen she will be part of our family. i will try to look at the good in all this. ya know if i didn't know the Lord and have Danyel & Megan I think i would go nuts. the sun is out today that is good. my brain hurts i can't even think. it could be worse i know. there are kids that hurt thier parents way more. Levi says they have a plan so i will pray for them and pray to know how i should help them. have a great day.

Blue and Gold is done

we had 144 people come to the dinner it was great. we team with another ward so we have 15 boys. for the dinner we had hotdogs and the families brought potluck, the boys learned a song about the states, we did the changing of thier neckerchiefs the once whos birthdays were sence October, we did awards and the boys put on skits. we jugded thier pies and gave then big ribbins one of the leaders made. it turned out great. on the stage we did a camping sean for the back groung of their skits. we used all the free maps on the walls, the tables we painted boards yellow and blue then put the state flags in them. we got little usa flags on tooth picks put them in balls of clay at each place. no i dont have pictures but other people do. Now on to helping plan day camp. ot's in July but our stake is doing thier own so I told them they needed to get planning early. so i have a meeting tonight and have to have the cost of the cooking class and what the boys will earn in the class. I know i am more busy than i was RS presadent. i also have to plan tuesdays den meeting. if any one has great ideas i'm always looking for them. hope all has a great day.

The sun came out

today the sun was out and it was good to get outside and do some yard work. Not much new Brandi went with a freind to her grandmas for a few days i sure miss her. She will be home on sunday. this week they are out of school for mid winter break. then next month they are out for a week of 1/2 days, then in april they are out a week for spring break. crazy i think when do they go to school. hahaha well gotta get to bed love ya

cont: from the other day

any way the testamonies wer all there to help me. it was amazing. one was repentance means turn around there is a better way. another was be happy and know that God loves you. there is a time for everything. we make mistakes we try to make things right. come unto him all of us. don't judge others. read the Book of Mormon often. Make our prayers more personal. insperation can't come unless we ask for it. the more we study the deeper understanding we get. i went home from church feeling good the all will be well. we do go through trials but we aren't alone.

The Trials of life

Sunday i was praying to know how to help one of my children through a trial. There has been times when i pray and are not sure about the answer and ther are times i don't know that i do get one. but sunday i decided to fast for this child. as you know it was fast sunday. i don't fast often because of my health. as testamony meeting started. one sister talked about her trials and how she feels over burden. she retired last year thinking she would have some time to read, do genyology, sew garden. but the lord or her children had other plans. that week of her retirement she started watching 2 of her grandchildren. gotta go get brandi be back to be continued
