went camping

our stake goes camping for the 24th every year. there is a church camp near by that we go to. we took 3 of our grandkids this year and brandi. we had a great time. friday we set up our camp and just hung out Brandi went on a field trip with collage bound to a maryners gam so we had to come back to pick her up at 1100 at night. on the way back my sister Cindy called me to see what we were upto. She lives in LaGrand oregon 6 hours from here. we she and her husband were going on a cruse for there 25th wedding aniversery and were almost to our house. so we met them here visited for awhile. they wanted to just rest before their cruse. so we went back out to the camp. Sat the kids played and the adults played baseball. not me of course my arm is still hurt. sat night they had a big dinner for everyone. They have a movie in the grove at night that was kind of cool to set outside kind of like a drive in but with you camp chairs. then Sunday they have church in the grove. the whole stake, it's realy neat. then we came home and had a relaxing sunday afternoon. now back to picking rasberries and yard work. have a great day

It was great we got to see Anthony Danyel and Doran. we had a great time. We went to a 4-H camp ground by La Grande Oregon, It was so good to see the kids. here are some pic for you to see.

The house is quite with out Brandi

Brandi was gone last week to a collage tour were she hut her foot so now she is on cruches. This week she is orr to girls camp she said her foot is doing better. so i hope she is having fun. I'm trying to get ready for day camp and the family reunion. we are so looking forward too. it's cold this week. in the 60's it makes me want to curl up in a blanket and read and sleep. hAVE A GREAT DAY

our grandchildren are in ROTC at school and at the end of the year the have a big dinner. it was great good food and the kids had fun.

as you can see

we have been very busy, we took 6 trees down next door. we had lots of help, brandi took lots of pic after the trees were down, to bad we didn't get any of Jeff or Levi up in the trees. the first 2 each took a day to get down and 3 days to split the wood. the last 4 took 2 days and we are done with them. the thing is this wood we can't burn till next year so we still need to get wood for this year. then trying to keep up with the yard. i put up 14 quarts of strawberry jam and 3 gallons of hole berries and they are still coming on the plants. the rasberries are just starting but there will be alot we hope. then the blackberries are looking good if the wearther holds. the rain makes the mold. Brandi did good in school she got a,a,b,b,b+ , and c it's not as good as she wanted but i think it's great. She is in Oregon for a week on a collage trip to look at differatn collages, she is having a blast but she hurt her fook on a rope relay so she is hobling. thats all for now just trying to keep up with the to do things. have a great day all
