It's been Hot

were have been working outside alot the heat is here, yesturday and friday we worked on taking down the neighbers 120 ft fur tree that was a hoot. alot of work, megans fried came to help and he got a phone call while we were working, i heard him tell the person he was helping a friend with some major yard work, we all had a great laugh. now this week we get to split the wood to get it our of the way for the next tree saturday. the garden is in and growing some os the stuff isn't doing to well but hope it will soon. not much eles going on brandi and i did go swimming the other day it was great. have a great day.

We went to Idaho

Last weekend we made a fast trip to Idaho. it was great but short. we went to visit Wes's mom and dad. Vern is not doing to good. His body is shuting down slowly. the sad thing is his mind is great he knows he is dieing. he asked us if we wanted his peacopcks he needs to find a home for them. Kay seams to be holding up she talks about things she will do when he is gone, maybe that is her way of dealing. this is when i wish we lived closer so we could go more often. when we got home i put in the garden and have been working every day to get cought up in the yard. today i finished the frount outside the fince. well here is what you are waiting for the pic of our trip have a great day.

We start a new week

Today if the rain holds i get to work outside mowing the yard and planting the garden. i had a day of rest yesturday and that was great. I had a good mothers day i rested, one because i am sick and the other i decided if we had a nice meal someone else was going to cook. Megan mad us a nice dinner and dessert. i have a chest cold. A happy Mothers day to you all we work so very hard each day to serve others. give yourselves a great big hug. love you all

Brandi's prom

the dress is done and Brandi and Alen went to the prom, they had a great time. they had dinner limon chicken, potatos, grenn beans and chocolet moses.

An interesting couple of days

Yesturday Lisa and Lu wanted to come sew, that ment i had to get everything done in the morning that i wanted to do. so Jeff and i hit the floor running we cleaned the house togather for sunday. not that the house was really durty but we wanted to do a basic clean. he did the dishes while i cleaned bathrooms and swept the floors. we did other things like water plants, fold our clothes. Jeff is a great help on house work. we almost got done with the kitchen when the troops came. the brought snacks and lots of them. chips and doughnuts you know all the kinds of thing we cant have on a diet. the kids munched lisa and i got started on her quilt she wanted to finish today. the got 3 quilts done 2 of thers and one of a practice quilt. they had a good time. inbetween helping them i stared to mow the lawn but it started to down poor on me so i came in and stared to cut out branis prom dress. then aunt carolyn and her freind bob came to talk to us about our pool cover we want to build, bob is a builder. so running back and forth to help the sewers and listen to bob on our plans. now im nuts. the its dinner time i started to make potato salid at 2:00 so now onto finishening it. lisa bought buns and hamburgers. so we had a spread they all stayed for dinner. the girls didnt get done sewong till about 10:00pm. I finaly get to sew on brandi's dress. i stayed up untill 3:00am about 5:00 i was woke up by a strange noice outside Jeff went to see and it was a malard on the side of our pool. so he got pictures of it. now we are getting ready for church. so i pray today is relaxing. have a great day love all.
